I am proud to be a graduate of Marcus High School. From the wonderful teachers to the exciting football games, so many experiences warm my heart when I think about my alma mater. After high school I went on to attend Texas Tech University. Get your guns up! Upon graduation I received my Bachelor of Arts in English and a Minor in Secondary Education. After college I taught at Lubbock High School before moving back to Flower Mound.

 

While my love of teaching was fueled at Texas Tech, it was ignited in my childhood. Teaching runs in my family. Combined, my parents have spent 59 years working in education. My mother is a math teacher at Lamar Middle School, and my father is a history teacher and coach at Liberty Christian School. It was in their classrooms and on their practice fields that I saw the impact teachers can have on students' lives. I have known since elementary school that I would one day grow up to be a teacher.

 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and our amazing family and raising my precious boys, Jack and Crue.
